Hello, my name is Earl J. Foster Jr., aka Shampén
Presently, the label boasts a roster of seven diverse artists, each contributing their own unique styles and perspectives.
This fast-rising record label is poised to shine as one of the brightest new stars in the industry.
I started the company while living and working in Japan.
Having had experience as an artist for a major label, ABC-Dunhill and Farr Records, as well as having production credits with them as well as MGM, I decided to start my own label.
Because of living and working in Japan, I decided to call it Rising Sun Records aka Rising Sun Records.,
I sincerely hope that you enjoy the music.

- Joseph W. Leavy Jr. -Head of A&R (Artist and Repertoire)As the head of A&R at Rising Sun Records, Joseph W. Leavy Jr. is tasked with scouting and recruiting talented artists for the label. His responsibilities include discovering promising musicians, negotiating artist contracts, facilitating the recording process, collaborating with producers and songwriters, and guiding artistic development to ensure commercial success.
Patricia Yancey
- Patricia Yancey -Head of the Marketing As the head of marketing at Rising Sun Records, Patricia Yancey is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote the label’s artists and their music. She oversees market research, manages advertising campaigns, coordinates branding initiatives, collaborates with partners and sponsors, and ensures effective communication to reach target audiences.
Will Miller
- Will Miller -Public Relations (PR) Manager as the head of promotions at Rising Sun Records, Will Miller is responsible for creating and executing promotional strategies to increase the visibility and success of the label’s artists. He manages relationships with media outlets, organizes promotional campaigns, plans events and tours, coordinates social media marketing, and strives to generate buzz and expand the fan base for Rising Sun Records’ roster.
