Even as a proud, Meals on Wheels client in Vallejo CA, he keeps the groove alive, letting his passion for music shine through every note. 🎸
From the moment he first picked up a bass, Jerry was self-taught, inspired, and unstoppable.
His rhythm took him from the military to the world stage, where he laid down lines behind greats like Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, Ike Turner, and Hank Ballard. 🎸
Through it all, Jerry stays humble—thankful for the love and care he receives from Meals on Wheels of Solano County.
He shares a warm bond with the volunteers who look out for him, and when asked to rate their service, let’s just say he turned the dial all the way past ten… straight to twelve. 🎸
